First Look and Personal Vows in the Enchanted Forest

Jenny and Jamie’s love story began in the woods, where they bonded over their shared passion for mushroom foraging and the quiet wonder of nature. For their wedding, they chose to have their first look and exchange vows in the forest, surrounded by towering trees and dappled sunlight. As Jamie stood waiting, the soft crunch of Jenny’s footsteps on the forest floor drew closer, and he couldn’t hold back the tears that began to roll down his face. Overcome with excitement and emotion, he turned to see her, and in that private, tranquil moment, they fully embraced the significance of their journey together, creating a memory as personal and enduring as their love. After their vows, we made our way back to the Teahouse Restaurant to prepare for the wedding ceremony, pausing along the way whenever the light was just right.

Jenny and Jamie’s wedding ceremony took place on the conservatory lawn outside the Teahouse Restaurant, shaded by the canopy of the surrounding trees. With the ocean as a distant backdrop and the gentle rustle of leaves overhead, they stood side by side, radiating calm joy. Having already exchanged their personal vows in private, they had their officiant share the story of their relationship. From their first mushroom foraging adventure to their countless shared hikes and quiet evenings, the tale wove together moments that reflected their deep connection and shared values. Golden Hour at Stanley Park’s Third Beach

As the sun began to set, we made our way down the seawall to Third Beach for golden hour photos, the warm sand beneath our feet adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The beach was filled with people enjoying the summer evening, some walking along the shore, others sitting on the sand, all taking in the stunning view. In the background, the mountains stood tall and majestic, their peaks softly illuminated by the fading sunlight. The waves gently lapped at the shore, creating a soothing soundtrack to the serene scene. The couple, bathed in the soft, golden light, looked completely at ease in this beautiful, natural setting, capturing a moment of pure tranquility before heading back to the celebration.

First Dance in the Tea Room

Returning to the reception, Jenny and Jamie shared their first dance in the Teahouse’s charming tea room. The room had a warm glow from the soft lighting, giving it a relaxed and inviting feel. Capturing the Final Moments: A Breath of Fresh Air and City Lights

Once my time with them wrapped up, we stepped outside for a few moments to catch our breath and take photos with the city lights twinkling on the North Shore in the distance, adding a final, magical touch to their unforgettable day. Jenny and Jamie,  thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. It was a true joy capturing the moments of your wedding, from the heartfelt vows to the lively celebration. Your love and connection were evident in every detail, and I’m so grateful to have been there to document it.
